FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – A free document shredding event takes place Saturday morning in Fort Wayne.
The Better Business Bureau is sponsoring the “Shred Day,” happening at the parking lot outside of Afdent, located at 4041 Parnell Ave.
It begins and 9 a.m. and is expected to conclude at noon (though it may end early if the truck fills to capacity).
People are encouraged to bring old tax and bank records, ATM receipts and other documents with sensitive information.
The records will be disposed of securely.
For those able to make a donation, a $5 contribution is suggested.
